The Importance of Big Family Get-Togethers
When I look back on my life, my fondest memories are when we had a family get-together. Like, when we went camping, hiking, fishing, swimming, etc. When we escape our stressful studying, working, or local environment and try something new where nobody can bother us for at least 24 hours; the following things happen, that make it so rewarding.
First of all, nobody cares for their family more than your own family members. It’s a time to go back into history and flutter up the ancestorial vibes that you can’t find anywhere else. Having a grandma and grandpa is especially awesome. Who else has the wide view camera, RAM, and the most neurons/dendrites of stored image, audio, and video data. And, who else can speak about how things happened to be and where we came from.
Family get-togethers whether small or large are when family members can somewhat privately chat about the past and future events with a caring and unique perspective that only they can provide. When families are able to be together for a long time, all kinds of great things happen to the humble and blessed family. Old and new recipes are formed and the bigger the family gets, the better the recipes get. Of course, we all have that one person who can make guacamole better than anyone else.
During these times of being together, we get to share career decisions, relationships, investments, and more. Families that live close to each other have a huge advantage in life. Family businesses where the young and old family members participate, share, and teach are awesome. Nobody can ever motivate you to learn a trade than Uncle Nathan. And, nobody can ever teach you how to solve the Rubik’s Cube like Uncle Justin.
By the way, this is the first draft of this story that I am going to refine and perfect. Please share your positive thoughts.
