Overview of Online Marketplaces For Sell From Home Sellers
Facebook marketplace, Ebay, Craigslist and Amazon are some of the most popular places to sell your stuff.

They allow both individuals and businesses the opportunity to buy and sell goods or services. Here’s a brief overview of each:

Facebook Marketplace: This is a feature within the Facebook app that allows users to buy and sell items with people in their local community. It’s very popular, things sell fast, and it’s free!

eBay: eBay is one of the largest online marketplaces in the world, where individuals and businesses can buy and sell items online world wide. The downside is you have to go to the trouble of packaging and shipping items instead of just leaving them by your front door mat.

Craigslist: Craigslist is a classified advertisement website that allows users to buy and sell items much like the same way Facebook marketplace works. It’s also a great place to find housing and job opportunities.

Amazon: Amazon is a massive e-commerce platform that offers a wide variety of products and services, including a marketplace where third-party sellers can list their items for sale.

I prefer not to sell things on Amazon, but instead to shop for bargains at Falling Prices where Amazon returns go for 1/2 to 1/20 the cost of new. It takes so time and digging in bins to find these items which are often sold at a discount through clearance sales or through a retailer’s online marketplace.

BIN (Buy It Now): This term is used on eBay to describe a listing where the seller sets a fixed price for the item, and buyers can purchase it immediately without bidding.

These are great places to sell stuff online, but in my opinion nothing beats a good old fashion garage or yard sale.
