Deeper and Longer Scientific Discussions on Sex
The interplay between biology, society, and individual identity is surprisingly much more complex than some people want to admit. Having a short conversation about what sex someone identifies as does a disservice to the complex and poorly understood field of sexual identity. Thanks to more research, better microscopes, and a deeper understanding of physiology and anatomy, we are slowly learning new complex and enlightening concepts.
The topic needs to turn more to hormones, enzymes, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and biological molecules and away from drama class. I believe that cosmetic surgeons are losing their credibility and will probably be out of work soon.
While the traditional view of sex as a binary system — male or female — seems straightforward on the surface, a closer look reveals a more nuanced reality. Taking time and expanding on scientific research effort will lead us down a path of enlightenment and way from drama rama.
